Avalon Interiors is a Berkeley-based interior design studio creating homes that are beautiful, personal, and made to be lived in. From collected, color-rich rooms full of pattern and history to warm, light-filled modern spaces, we design interiors that reflect the people who live in them. Every project starts with how you actually live. We listen first, then design rooms that balance beauty and function: layered, comfortable, and full of character. Whether that means a jewel-box powder room wrapped in gilded wallpaper or a calm, modern family room built around a view, the goal is always the same: a home that feels unmistakably yours.
Cole Valley House
San Francisco. After a complete remodel of this Cole Valley home, the goal for the interiors was to make the new, modern architecture feel warm and lived-in. Clean-lined furnishings in soft, natural materials, a layered palette of warm neutrals, and plenty of texture create rooms designed for real family life, with comfortable places to gather, relax, and host friends. Avalon Avenue House
Berkeley. A classic Berkeley house reimagined as a study in collected, color-rich design. Deep green walls, a gilded chinoiserie powder room with a marble vanity, a crystal chandelier above the stair hall, and vintage pieces reupholstered in lush botanical prints bring pattern, history, and warmth to every room, while classic moldings and a traditional fireplace keep the house rooted in its original character.
